In 2023, Maxcom increased sales by 5% compared to 2022, recording the highest sales revenue in history. Efficient operation during the uncertain global geopolitical situation and economic realities in Poland required optimizing the company's development strategy. One of the pillars was expanding the product portfolio and opening up to a new target group. Maxcom has become one of the most dynamically developing smartwatch brands in Poland.
Last year, Maxcom recorded a 5% increase in sales compared to 2022 and generated record sales revenues of PLN 134. The company adapted its operational, product, and marketing/sales strategies to the challenges dictated by the global geopolitical situation and inflationary and cost pressures in Poland.
In 2023, the Maxcom Group generated consolidated operating profit of PLN 5164 and net profit of PLN 422.
2023 was a year full of challenges, positive changes, and achieved goals for Maxcom. The significant increase in interest in Maxcom products was driven by the expansion of the product range, including products that aligned with current trends and responded to market demand, the development of e-commerce, and the strengthening of Maxcom's international position. The new product range included not only its own brand but also well-known global brands partnered with companies such as Lenovo, the American JLab, and Dirt Devil.
Particularly noteworthy is the growing collection of jewelry smartwatches, which are protected by the patented name BIŻUŁOCZ®These devices combine timeless elegance with the technological advancement of smartwatches. The jewelry portfolio is diversified by limited editions created in collaboration with renowned brands in the jewelry and beauty industries.
In 2023, the Company maintained its position as the dominant supplier of classic, senior mobile phones to the largest domestic telecommunications operators, while also being a key supplier of the above-mentioned products to the largest electronics chains in Poland and Central Europe.
Maxcom's management anticipates significant revenue growth in 2024. In Poland, the brand remains the leader in the classic phone category and is rapidly approaching the top smartwatch manufacturers. Sales of products in these categories are also steadily growing in international markets. The brand is already present in over 20 countries, primarily in Europe. Maxcom is also consistently expanding its portfolio in the areas of electromobility, renewable energy, and smart devices other than smartwatches.
Maxcom takes global trends and data into account when creating new collections. The company's efficient implementation of its mission and vision, based on high management standards, was confirmed by its retention of the prestigious Best Managed Companies title in 2023. All of this, combined with unconventional ideas for broadly defined marketing activities, allows us to look to the future with great optimism.
