The extensive product portfolio, effective marketing activities, pro-ecological attitude and modern management strategy of Maxcom were appreciated for the second time by the jury of the Best Managed Companies competition organized by Deloitte Private. In this year’s edition of the plebiscite, Maxcom defended the title of winner and retains the BMC certificate for another year, thus remaining in the elite group of the best-managed Polish companies from the private sector.
Best Managed Companies is an original plebiscite that has existed since 1993, inaugurated by Deloitte Private in Canada, and is currently carried out in dozens of countries around the world. Every year, thousands of private companies take part in it and undergo a meticulous process of verifying their approach to running a business. Independent experts and a jury composed of, among others: from the scientific staff of economic universities assess which of the private companies entered in the competition are coping best in these difficult times. The skills and management practices of each company resulting from its vision and mission, the company’s resources, both tangible and intangible, organizational culture, as well as the supervision and reporting system are taken into account.
Maxcom was included in this elite group of 20 best-managed private companies in Poland for the first time last year. To maintain the prestigious BMC certificate, the verification process had to be successfully completed again, in line with the strict criteria applicable around the world. During workshops, meetings and conversations with independent management experts, Maxcom proved that it can successfully operate in changing economic conditions.
– We constantly adapt to the changing reality and meet the expectations of our clients. Our success is the result of the hard work of all employees, their commitment and ability to adapt to a very dynamic market. Therefore, we are very happy that our vision of running a business and the organizational culture we have developed have been appreciated again by Deloitte – emphasizes Arkadiusz Wilusz, president of the management board of Maxcom.
The result of the strategy adopted by the company, which was appreciated in the BMC plebiscite, is an extensive and competitive product portfolio. The new assortment fits into current trends in the field of electromobility, smart home, fashion and renewable energy. In the process of creating new products, Maxcom specialists are guided by tools such as market and global trends and analysis of competition activities. Decisions related to expanding the offer are made after an in-depth analysis of trends visible at international fairs, including: those in which Maxcom is an exhibitor (IFA in Berlin, MWC in Barcelona, Intersolar in Munich). The brand’s success also depends on the initiatives of the marketing department, which, together with the adopted management philosophy, has the opportunity to implement its own innovative ideas. To achieve the set goals, Maxcom employees constantly improve their qualifications during conferences, industry fairs, as well as during integration trips and motivational training.
One of the pillars of Maxcom’s development strategy for the coming years is environmental protection. The best example of such pro-ecological activities carried out by the company is tree planting. As part of this type of action, Maxcom employees planted 4,000 new young oak trees in the Kobierz forest district. Maxcom also makes sure to be among socially responsible companies that implement projects in the spirit of zero waste and are consistent with the EU’s policy of independence from natural gas and improving the climate. An example would be giving up the gas furnace and switching to heating with own brand heat pumps, the entire office building and Maxcom halls, and thus supplementing the existing photovoltaic installation.
The distinction in the plebiscite organized by Deloitte entitles companies to use the registered mark of the Best Managed Companies program , which is a symbol of organizational success, exceptional achievements and the spirit of entrepreneurship in private companies.
